Welcome to the 16th CBRNe Symposium

Planning for the 16th CBRNe Symposium is now in full swing, and we look forward to sharing more details as they become available.

The symposium brings together scientific researchers and industry professionals working across the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and explosive (CBRNe) fields, offering a platform to exchange knowledge, present research, and strengthen collaborations that support preparedness and resilience.

Held every three years since 1983, the symposium draws on a long and rich tradition, building on decades of accumulated experience as well as the insights from our most recent gathering in 2025. We are excited to announce that the 16th edition will take place in 2028, and look forward to continuing this legacy. Stay tuned for updates on dates, venue, and the scientific programme.

We look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and new colleagues to continue the dialogue and discovery that has defined this symposium series.
